Playstation 3 Definitely Will Handle 3D Blu-ray

I just hit my head in just the ceiling after reading this: The Blu-ray Disc Association has announced that the Playstation 3 will most likely be fully compatible with 3D standards.

It's amazing news for PS3 proprietors, who will likely not need to shell out cash for a fresh player for 3D motion pictures. According on the newly-released specs, Sony's console will play motion pictures in 3D 1080p, while working with any and every kind of 3D display. That includes LCD, plasma and projection in complete HD, whilst permitting for 2D playback on both current and 3D players. Adding towards the enjoyable will likely be 3D menus and navigation, giving PS3 proprietors the complete futuristic encounter.

The crazier component is the fact that most latest Blu-ray players will not support 3D. That means your buddy's standalone Blu-ray player will most likely be useless, though you are going to enjoy PS3 games and 3D movies on your exisiting console. It is confident to piss off those proprietors but you will not hear me complaining.

Obviously you'll still need to buy a Television to support the 3D capability, but hey, half the battle has alreadybeen won. There's no release date for 3D films yet, but additional announcements are specified to abide by. Inside the meantime, PS3 owners can rest easy and look forward to the long term of watching 3D movies with their console. It also adds bragging rights towards PS3-Xbox 360 debate and gives latest Blu-ray owners some thing to whine about.

So, Playstation 3 owners... Excited? And knowing this, will you buy a Television to support three-dimensional movies? Be confident to take a look at Playstation 3 gaming arenas. They've everything from NBA 10 to Fight Night Round 4 and plenty of live video games opponents waiting for the challenge. Start playing!
